APD Detectives Search for a Suspect in Connection to a Mail Theft Case

The Austin Police Department (APD) is requesting the public’s assistance with identifying a female who directed her five-year-old child to take a package from the apartment parcel room after she delivered a package. Amazon has no record of the delivery, so it is unknown if the suspect is dressed like an Amazon delivery person to gain access or actually works for Amazon and wasn’t logged on.
The suspect is described as:
- Hispanic female
- Early 30s
- She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, plastic framed glasses, hair in a bun and a blue Amazon delivery vest.
- Accompanied by a five-year-old child who was wearing a Buccee’s tye-dye t-shirt and blue shorts.
