APD Detectives Search for a Suspect in Connection to a Robbery in the 1900 block of E. Ben White Blvd.

The Austin Police Department Robbery Unit is requesting the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect involved in a robbery that occurred at the Subway located at 1931 E. Ben White Boulevard on April 5, 2025, between 8 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.
 
The suspect, whose description and photos are included below, jumped on top of the counter and demanded cash while he threatened that he was armed with a gun. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and left the scene on foot.

  • Hispanic male
  • 20-30 years of age
  • 5’ 7” tall
  • Thin build
  • The suspect was last seen wearing a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt with a patch/emblem on the left shoulder, a white tee shirt underneath, black pants, and white shoes.
