APD Detectives Search for a Suspect in Connection to a Robbery in the 700 block of Newman Drive

Location: 703 Newman Drive – Twin Liquors
The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is requesting the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect in connection to a robbery of Twin Liquors located at 703 Newman Drive on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at approximately 6:57 p.m.
The suspect, whose photo and description are included in this release, entered the store, selected a bottle, and forcibly pushed and injured an employee while he ran out of the store.
The suspect is described as:
- Black male
- Mid to late 30s years of age
- Medium build
- He was last seen wearing a black Nike zip-up hoodie, black pants, black and white Nike Air Max Penny sneakers with gold emblem
