APD Detectives Search for a Suspect in Connection to a Theft

The Austin Police (APD) is requesting the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect in connection to a theft that occurred at the Barefoot Campus Outfitters located at 2338 Guadalupe Street on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

At approximately 9:35 a.m., a woman, whose photos and description are included below, entered Barefoot Campus Outfitters and concealed and stole a Hampton Road shoulder bag. The woman exited the store without paying for the bag. 
 
The suspect is described as:
 

• White female
• Blonde hair
• Thin build
• Last seen wearing a blue Yankees t-shirt and light-colored pants

Anyone with any information may submit a tip anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or by calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest.
