APD Detectives Search for a Suspect Vehicle in Connection to a Collision Involving Injury

Austin Police (APD) Highway Enforcement Investigations Unit Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect vehicle in connection to a Collision Involving Injury case.

On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at approximately 11:20 p.m., a person was struck by a white pickup truck at the intersection of West Cesar Chavez Street and Colorado Street. Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS) transported the victim to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
