APD Detectives Search for Two Suspects in Connection to an Aggravated Assault

Time:  4:45 p.m.

Location:  6000 block of South Interstate Highway 35 Northbound

On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at around 4:45 p.m., officers with APD responded to a shooting that occurred in the area of 6000 block of South Interstate Highway 35 proper northbound. The suspect(s) described below were traveling in a pickup truck with a trailer in the left lane when an occupant of the truck shot at the driver of a blue Nissan sedan that was traveling in the center lane, several times.

The victim was shot and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. 

Suspect #1 is described as:

  • White male
  • Shaggy medium length hair

Suspect #2 is described as:

  • White male
  • Shaggy medium length hair

The suspect vehicle is described as:

  • Large pickup
  • Similar to Ford F-250
  • Dark in color
  • Towing a black utility trailer with approximately four-foot mesh sides
  • Trailer contained landscaping equipment
     

This case is currently being investigated as an Aggravated Assault.
