The Austin Police (APD) Auto Theft Unit is requesting assistance with identifying two suspects involved in an auto theft that occurred on September 26, 2026, at approximately 3:29 a.m., in the 10100 block of Metropolitan Drive. Video surveillance from an in-car camera captured the suspect operating the stolen vehicle, which was later recovered. 
 
Suspect #1 (driver) is described as: 

male suspect walking into business
  • White male with tattoos on his arm
  • Early to mid 30s
  • Long brown hair
  • Thin build
  • 5'5" - 5"7" tall
  • He was last seen wearing a white short-sleeved t-shirt, black shorts, and black tennis shoes

Suspect #2 (passenger) is described as:

female suspect walking into business
  • White female
  • Early to mid 30s
  • Long brown hair
  • Thin build
  • 5'5" - 5"7" tall
  • She was last seen wearing a black tank top, blue jeans, and black/white shoes
