APD Detectives Search for Two Suspects in Connection to a Robbery in the 900 block of Payton Gin Road

Location: Zebra Smoke Shop – 944 Payton Gin Road
The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is requesting the public’s assistance with identifying multiple suspects involved in an Aggravated Robbery that occurred at the Zebra Smoke Shop, located at 944 Payton Gin Road on April 18, 2025, at 12:53 a.m.
The suspects, whose descriptions and photos are included below, entered the store, pointed handguns at the employees and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
Suspect #1 described as:
- Black male
- 25 to 35 years of age
- 6’ 0” tall
- 200-250 lbs.
- Armed with a dark colored handgun
- The suspect was last seen wearing a white graffiti hooded sweater, maroon undershirt, green beanie, light colored pants, and white and black shoes
Suspect #2 described as:
- Hispanic male
- 25 to 35 years of age
- 5’8” tall
- Medium build
- Armed with a dark colored handgun
- The suspect was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants, a black with red and green flat brim hat with a sticker on the brim, and black shoes
