APD to Participate in 10th Annual Kid's Fest on April 25, 2026
On Saturday, April 25, 2026, Austin Police (APD) K9, Mounted Patrol, 9-1-1, Victim Services, Auto Theft, along with our partners at Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS) and more, will host the 10th Annual Kid's Fest at the Virginia Brown Recreation Center.
Between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., we invite you and the entire family to come out and meet your local first responders, local non-profits, enjoy some delicious food and treats, arts and crafts, music and entertainment, giveaways, games, and activities for kids!
Check out some awesome police and fire department vehicles and displays, participate in a bicycle challenge course, and much more.
This family-friendly event is FREE and open to the public.

KidsFestATX is more than a celebration—it’s a comprehensive, one-stop resource fair created to uplift and empower Austin families. Organized in partnership with Child Inc and Austin Voices for Education & Youth, the event welcomes more than 1,500 attendees each year, bringing the community together for connection, support, and opportunity.
Attendees will have access to more than 150 exhibitors, offering a variety of essential services, including:
