The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is requesting public assistance with identifying a suspect involved in a robbery that occurred in the 3100 block of E. SH 71 SVRD EB on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at approximately 2:53 a.m.

The suspect, whose descriptions and photos are included below, aggressively attacked the victim, knocked her to the ground, and hit her several times before he stole her property.

The suspect is described as:
•    Black male
•    Approximately 40 years of age
•    5’7”
•    Approximately 200 lbs

The suspect was last seen wearing:
•    Black shirt
•    Black durag
•    Black pants
•    One yellow construction glove
•    Red and black knit cap
•    Red athletic shoes
