APD Seeks Community’s Assistance with Aggravated Robbery Investigation

The Austin Police Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery that occurred on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at a business located in the 9700 block of North Capital of Texas Highway (Southbound).

During the incident, an adult male threatened an employee before stealing merchandise from the store. Detectives are urging anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts to come forward. They are also requesting any cell phone or surveillance video that may have captured the suspect fleeing the scene.

Suspect is described as:
 

• White male
• 30s to 40s years old
• Medium built
• Balding with brown hair on the sides
• He has tattoos on his left forearm
• Last seen wearing: blue shirt, dark-colored shorts, black long socks, white shoes, and carrying a black North Face backpack.
