APD Seeks Public's Assistance in Identifying a Robbery Suspect

Location: 200 block of West Elliot Street
 
The Austin Police (APD) Robbery Unit is requesting public assistance with identifying a suspect involved in a robbery that occurred at approximately 5 a.m. in the 200 block of West Elliot Street.
 
The suspect, whose description and photos are included below, displayed a knife and stole the victim’s mountain bike. He is known to frequent the North Lamar and Georgian Drive areas.
 
The suspect is described as:

• Black male
• 22-29 years old
• 5’ 9” tall
• 160 lbs.
• Beard
• He was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt, black shorts, white tennis shoes with black laces, and a blue OKC (Oklahoma City) Thunder basketball hat.
