Request graffiti clean-up
Austinites can report graffiti on private property, and the City of Austin will help the property owner remove it. As part of the program, Austin Development Services will even cover the cost. The property owner must agree to have the graffiti removed before the City can cover the clean-up cost.
To participate in this program:
- Contact Austin 3-1-1 to request graffiti removal on private property.
- A Code Compliance Inspector visits the property to inspect the graffiti.
- The property owner receives a letter offering to remove the graffiti if they want to participate in the clean-up program.
- If the property owner consents, a clean-up team is dispatched within 48 hours.
