Austin Small and Minority Business Resources helps small, minority-owned, women-owned, and disadvantaged businesses compete for City of Austin contracts. We administer the City’s Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise procurement programs and work to expand access, equity, and economic opportunity for local businesses.

Austin Small and Minority Business Resources is currently operating in a hybrid telework setting. Our staff are available to answer questions and provide customer service by email, phone, and during select in-office hours.

If you are a small business experiencing issues on a City contract you may request assistance from ASMBR by submitting a Small Business Subcontractor Resolution Form. This form helps ensure timely resolution of common small business concerns such as, payments, substitutions, replacements, retainage, and performance.
