About ACE
- Who we are

The Austin Center for Events (ACE) coordinates the permitting of special events for the City of Austin. ACE is governed by Chapter 4-20 – Special Events of the City of Austin Code of Ordinances and the Adopted Administrative Rules for implementation.
ACE partners include:
- Arts, Culture, Music, and Entertainment (ACME)
- Austin Resource Recovery (ARR)
- Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
- Development Services Department (DSD)
- Economic Development Department (EDD)
- Fire Department (AFD)
- Parks and Recreation Department (PARD)
- Police Department (APD)
- Transportation & Public Works Department (TPW)
