Compassion in the Face of Crisis
I don't remember their badge numbers, but I do remember their names. Officers Francisco Jimenez and Evan Smith arrived at my residence recently when I was suicidal. I was prepared for the worst, but was caught completely off guard by their calm and caring demeanors. They made sure my kids were okay and also made sure I was okay. Officer Smith helped me out with supplies and I will never forget you two. You saved my life, Officer Jimenez. You are truly the shining example of what an officer should be and I am proud you are on the force. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Also, there was Victim Services Counselor Trisha Cupero and her intern, Carly Snyder, that were present as well that helped with my babies. That group saved my life. Seriously saved my life. God sent you to the right place. I can't say thank you enough.
