APD responded to an assist complainant call. An elderly woman phoned police after an unexpected knock on her door frightened her. As it turned out, it had been the water company alerting her that her water main was leaking and they'd turned it off. The leak had impacted a next store neighbor's yard. That resident wrote to us saying "Boyd and Parslow (APD Officers) treated the 83-year-old woman very well and called the water company for her."
