Austin Municipal Court Streamlines Docket Schedule

Austin Municipal Court (AMC) is updating its docket schedule to improve overall efficiency. Beginning October 5, 2026, all Attorney Appearance Dockets and Jury Trials will be held on Tuesdays.

Following a comprehensive review of current docket needs, AMC determined that reducing and consolidating underutilized docket times will maximize use of Court resources, improve workflow and support staff in providing the highest level of service. These changes will also enable the addition of other needed dockets.

AMC’s walk-in mitigation docket schedule is unchanged. Individuals who wish to discuss cases and options with a judge or prosecutor may do so at AMC’s Main Courthouse, 6800 Burleson Rd, Building 310, Suite 175, Austin, TX 78744, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. A later docket is available from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays.
