The City of Austin invites community members to share their thoughts about a possible renaming of César Chávez Street. The City will host three meetings to gather community input.

The Austin City Council invites the public to give input at a July 28, 2026 meeting on proposed amendments to the Austin City Charter. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. and will take place at Austin City Hall Council Chambers (301 W 2nd St.).
