- Demolition Report
In August 2017, the Office of the City Auditor released a report (PDF) on the demolition permitting process that highlighted areas of concern. In December 2017, the City Council followed up with a resolution requesting that Austin Development Services develop recommendations to redesign the demolition permitting process to achieve the goals in the City Auditor's report.
The report includes recommendations that meet the City Auditor's report goals and incorporate feedback from stakeholder meetings.
- Fee Studies
- 2010 Fee Study conducted by Public Financial Management (PFM) and related Appendices.
- 2015 Fee Study conducted by Matrix Consultants.
- Success Metrics
The Success Metrics identify key performance measures and target goals for Austin Development Services. These metrics measure review times, wait times, employee investment, and technology to assess business processes and organizational efficiency. These reports were published monthly.
