This workshop will guide artists on how to create, organize, and maintain an effective studio, whether at home or in a commercial space. It is designed for artists of all levels who want to optimize their creative environment for productivity, health, and long-term success. Attendees will learn best practices for lighting, ergonomics, organizing and filing artwork, balancing technology with practical tools, and creative storage solutions—all strategies to help artists work more efficiently, sustain their practice, and thrive in their studio space.

Lindsey Millikan is a painter and muralist in Austin, Texas, with an MFA in Painting and a BFA in Studio Art and Fine Art Painting. Her work blends fine art and public practice to explore transformation, resilience, and social themes like climate justice and community health. Lindsey has created work for national organizations and city projects, and in her workshops, she helps participants build skills, find their creative voice, and engage meaningfully with communities.
