What are Sexually transmitted infections

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are common, and many people get them at some point in their lives. STIs pass from one person to another through vaginal, oral, and anal sex.  It’s important to get tested, as STIs may not show symptoms. You can have one without knowing and pass it on. Regular testing can help you spot an STI and get treatment early on. For more information about sexually transmitted infections.

Come to the Sexual Health Clinic at RBJ Health Center, 15 Waller Street, for testing, diagnosis, and treatment of STIs. The standard tests are HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia.

NOTE: We can only test for genital herpes if you have active symptoms.

Clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., and 1 - 5 p.m. The fee for testing and treatment is only $20.

Schedule a clinic appointment online or call 512-972-5430.

Pro-tip: You may be able to book an earlier appointment if you call.
