Austin Police (APD) Highway Enforcement Investigations Unit Detectives are requesting the public’s help with identifying a suspect in connection to a Collision Involving Serious Bodily Injury that occurred on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at approximately 11:37 p.m., in the intersection of Robert T. Martinez Jr. Street and E. Cesar Chavez Street.
 
The suspect driver of a vehicle hit the victim’s vehicle head-on and left the scene without exchanging information or rendering aid. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The suspect driver is described as:

  • Female
  • Possibly Hispanic
  • Possibly thin build
  • Possibly in her 20s

 
The suspect vehicle is described as:

  • Small sedan
  • Grey/silver in color
