On August 15, 1981, officers responded to the 1200 block of East 6th Street for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, the victim, Vicente Barientos Castro, was found deceased outside of a nightclub wiht a gunshot wound. The investigation revealed that the victim and suspect had just been involved in a physical fight ending with the suspect shooting the victim. It is believed that the suspect, Leonardo Callero, fled to Mexico to avoid prosecution.
Suspect: Leonardo Callero, Hispanic male, 65 years of ago; 150lbs, Approximately 5'2" tall, black hair, brown eyes.
