On Monday, July 28, 2025, at 5:54 a.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a single vehicle collision in the 3100 block of Ed Bluestein Blvd. The unidentified driver was pronounced deceased on scene.

This incident is being investigated as Austin’s 56th fatal crash of 2025, resulting in 60 fatalities. On the date of this crash in 2024, 46 fatal crashes resulted in 49 deaths.
