Austin Sustainable Building Materials Forum

Join the City of Austin for “Design, (De)Construction and the Circular Economy”: a one-day forum exploring sustainability, circularity and regenerative urbanism. Registration is open for this free event.

This sustainable building materials forum is free and open to the public. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Confirmed speakers, panels and workshops are listed on the registration page. The forum is a collaboration between Austin Resource Recovery, Austin Planning and Austin Energy.

For contractors interested in digging deeper into material reuse, the City will also host a hands-on Deconstruction Workshop Nov. 16 to 20. Participants will deconstruct a single-family wood-frame house, led by an experienced trainer. Learn more about the Austin Sustainable Building Materials Forum and apply today.
