Zero Waste Resource Fair

Everyone is invited to our first Zero Waste Resource Fair of 2026! Stop by the Little Walnut Creek Library between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 13. You’ll learn from Austin Resource Recovery how composting works at apartments and condos, pick up a free kitchen compost collector if you're a multifamily resident (one per household, while supplies last!), and snack on goodies that are as compostable as they are tasty. You’ll also get a chance to chat with other City of Austin departments and discover programs that support sustainability. Learn more about zero waste in multifamily communities.
