Handle a civil parking citation
If you receive a citation for a civil parking violation, you can look up the case details, pay associated fines, fees, and court costs, or request a court hearing online. You must contact Austin Municipal Court to resolve the citation by the date listed on the citation, or you will be found liable by law, and the fine increases. Three or more unresolved civil parking citations can result in your car being booted and/or towed.
Disabled parking violations are criminal offenses. See how to resolve a criminal violation.

A hearing officer will consider the available evidence to determine if the vehicle was in violation of the relevant parking restriction. If you are found liable for the violation, the early fine amount will be due.
Civil parking citations can only be contested by either the registered owner of the vehicle or by the driver who parked the vehicle before the citation was issued.
