The City of Austin helps homeowners ensure compliance with applicable City and building codes when they build, demolish, remodel, or perform any construction in the City of Austin and when planning special events.

Please call 3-1-1 and provide a location and description of the issue. An investigator will visit the location and assess the situation to determine if a workgroup should be assigned.

Help provide toys and food for Austin families in need during the holiday season. There are lots of ways to volunteer with the Austin Police Department's Operation Blue Santa.

The coordinator conducts annual ADA onsite visits with City departments to review accessibility issues, training needs and initiatives.

If you received a citation for a parking violation, you can look up the case details, pay associated fines, fees and court costs or request a court hearing online.

File a police report to report offenses and non-emergency crimes – crimes that are no longer in progress and present no immediate threat to anyone.

Temporary Concession permits are issued at stand-alone park locations where short-term or single day concession needs arise that benefit an activity or the public at the requested park location. • Concession approvals (permits) are required and issued to applicants for commercial activity requests (vending, merchandise sales, etc) in the park system. • Concession permits are NOT issued for vendors to vend outside or near permitted special events where organizers typically coordinate vendors inside their permitted grounds and spaces.

Lost your keys or cell phone down an inlet? Call 3-1-1, and we may be able to send a representative to retrieve your item.

Register your bicycle with APD. Once registered, it will remain in the system until you let us know it has been disposed of.

The City of Austin is incredibly proud of our local music culture, and every Austin City Council meeting includes live Music Proclamation Day performances during the lunch hour, which is broadcasted live on ATXN.tv.

Performers are bestowed the honor of a “Music Proclamation Day” with an accompanying certificate and their band name permanently included in the City calendar. These musicians will have their own City of Austin “Day” for the rest of their lives, and many have annual celebrations of their day with fans and supporters.

A vehicle for hire is a vehicle providing private transport or shared transport for a fee, in which passengers are generally free to choose where they start and where they are going (not including rideshares). Call 3-1-1 to report flooding, erosion and other drainage problems such as debris blocking the flow of water in a creek, a clogged inlet or culvert, standing water in a pond (for more than 72 hours) or high vegetation.
