Neighborhood Associations

District 5 is home to several neighborhood associations that organize around issues facing their community. To find organizations in your area, use the City of Austin's Community Registry database.

The Community Registry database includes boundaries, contacts, meeting schedules, links to related websites and other valuable information about community groups, including over 500 Austin neighborhood groups.

Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community. The City of Austin lists general volunteer opportunities on its volunteer webpage.

You also can find specific volunteer opportunities on the City's GivePulse portal, our official volunteer signup web portal. Browse upcoming opportunities below, or visit the full GivePulse portal to create an account, learn about specific volunteer needs and get notices of upcoming opportunities.
