Latino/a/e Artist Access Program

The ESB Mexican American Cultural Center is excited to announce an open call for applications to the Latino/a/e Artist Access Program in September 2025.

The Latino/a/e Artist Access Program offers working artists with access to free rehearsal and performance space to hone their craft, produce work, and further develop their artistic voice. This resource is critical towards ushering in the next step of career growth.


Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Live in Austin or ETJ (Extra-territorial jurisdiction). To find out if your location qualifies, look up your address on this website.
  • Provide programs and services for citizens of Austin (and/or ETJ) as a working artist (open to market broadly to all residents, visitors, and tourists).
  • Provide a free program (performance, educational workshop, talkback, etc) for the benefit of the public during their time as cohorts (if selected).

Applications are ranked by a panel made up of professional artists from Austin. Program application guidelines will be posted soon!
