accident in front of the entrance. The only other way in was down one way which she couldn't
use. She asked an officer if she could just drive through because it wouldn't have disturbed the
accident and she needed to park to make her appointment. The officer yelled at her that whatever
she had to do this morning was less important than the accident. The complainant is now having
to reschedule an important appointment which may cause serious health implications. She
doesn't appreciate the lack of empathy, she doesn't appreciate being yelled at and told that her
issue was not important when the officer had no idea why she was there.

Austin Police Detective Lauren Villarreal had a legitimate medical emergency last year. Since that
time, she has fraudulently abused sick leave, and taken sick leave donations from APD employees,
with plans to later request sick leave from coa employees to avoid returning to her primary
assigned duties as a detective. While on sick leave for her "medical condition", Villarreal has
continuously posted pictures to social media of her going on vacation, engaging in strenuous
physical activities, and happily planning a wedding. Additionally, she has refused to return to her
primary duties in a light duty capacity, and has somehow been assigned to the Academy. In her
primary role on light duty, she would only be required to investigate crimes from the office, and
would not be expected to do any field work or suspect interviews. While she engages in this
behavior, her home unit suffers under increased case load burden, which has a rippling effect
causing detectives to be less able to be fully attentive to their cases and victim's. She is assigned to
the sex crimes unit, so her dereliction should be regarded as serious due to the population of
victims her actions effect. If she is somehow so injured that she can't do desk work at a computer,
how and what is she doing at the academy? If she is so disabled that she needs to continuously
request sick leave donations from apd and coa, then how is she going on all these vacations, and
engaging in all these activities? This has the appearance that Villarreal is fraudulently abusing
FMLA, and that she is derelict in her duties, to the harm of the department and the community.

Hi there,
Over the last couple of nights there's been a police car parked on Foremost Dr in front of Lenox
Soco. I believe this is due to construction and traffic direction from the frontage, SO completely
understand why it's there.
I live at Lenox Soco and the police car has parked directly in front of my apartment's windows
causing strobe lights throughout the night. They've caused headaches and lack of sleep due to the
flashing.
Is there any way the car can be parked further down the road? If not, do you have an estimate of
how many more nights residents will need to sleep through this? I deal with migraines frequently
so was hoping for a solution.

On 10-5-2024 I went to 6th St with some friends. My friend at the time was talking to one girl.
Her friends were also there. At one point, one of her friends and started arguing and she spit on
me. I started to speak to her, and that is when I saw some police officers come towards me. They
threw me to the ground. At that time, my shoulder got dislocated and popped out of the socket. I
was in pain and attempted to pop it back into place. I asked them to help me put it back in place,
but they wouldn't listen and kept grabbing my left arm to physically hold my dislocated shoulder
out of its socket. I was in so much pain. I was then rolled to the side, arrested, and taken to jail.

On 2/6/2024 I went to the residence of

made multiple police reports in comal county where we are supposed to meet half way. Each day he
didn't bring her back I made a report. He continuously invited me to his residence to pick up
since he didn't have a vehicle however he has a history of violence against me so I declined. I insisted
we keep to our half way meeting point in new braunfels at my parents residence at
new braunfels tx 78130 for safety. After 2 days

with me for safety to retrieve her. He argued with me in person because I
would not allow him to keep

expecting another baby, 18 weeks pregnant at the time, and I should give

this due to his past history of harassment and violence. I also called APD myself to find out if this was
true and was told there were no warrants for my arrest. I arrived at
school at 6pm to pick her

had taken her again outside our court order. The school did not notify me and they
have our order on file. I created a police report about this and the principal at the time claimed

them we switched weekends which was not true. No one called to verify this with me. I then go to

and took me into custody. That's when we knew this was
plan all along. If I was in jail for alleged

by default. I was held in Travis county for 26 hours at 20 weeks pregnant

I hired a criminal attorney to retrieve the 911 phone call and police report
made. He declined victim
services, had no evidence of injury, no proof of any physical signs of assault, he lied on the phone to
911 stating I was trying to hit him with my car when leaving then he CHANGED his statement to police
stating I was not operating my car violently. That should have been RED FLAG #1. His allegation NEVER
should have been pursued without a proper investigation. He was in CONTEMPT of court TWICE but of
course he failed to disclose that to the officer that responded to the 911 call. After I was released my
family attorney filed an emergency writ of attachment for officers to get
back because
refused to release her. After realizing police would be coming he willingly released her to me and my
Aunt
on 2/27/24. As we continued through the trial process
hounded the DA to
prosecute me to the fullest extent. Meanwhile I pursued charges against him for parental kidnapping
in family court. It was uncovered through a Court ordered drug test that he was actively on
Methanphedamines. Once this came to light I turned this information over to the DA in my criminal
case.
then complained to the DA to drop my case. Again these charges were FALSE in an attempt
to get custody of our daughter.
All of this was due to officers failure to investigate the allegations properly. If a proper investigation
was completed I had plenty of evidence to prove
motives were self serving. This not only cost me
THOUSANDS in legal fees, time wasted with multiple court hearings, and EXTREME emotional distress
during
my
pregnancy
but
it
was
also
a
court resources, and the
DA's time spent on my him to realize his scheme would not prevail. Please look into this
thoroughly as to why the detective did not properly investigate his claims and pursued me without any
evidence or proof of injury.

violently slammed to the ground with excessive force. This was a violent act and Officer Locken,
Officer Simionton, and Deputy Eberhardt need to be held accountable for their actions. It's a
disgrace to humanity. The amount of blood from them slamming her face into the ground is
horrifying. They shouldn't have jobs if this is how they handle situations. With that many officers
present there was clearly no need to for excessive force. How is it when a pedestrian causes that
amount of harm they're at risk of jail time but when these "public servants" do the same they
aren't held the that same standard. These men need to be held accountable and she deserves not
only justice but compensation for trauma and for the unnecessary medical treatment she had to
get because of these grown men being incapable of doing their job properly. If your force can't do
their job without unnecessary violence, then they should NOT be in that field. If this is a support
and encouraged behavior then you all should be ashamed. No human should be treated like this,
period.

Hi there. My brother passed away in Austin, Texas on November 7th, 2024. My family was NEVER
notified of his death by anyone from APD or SAPD or Helotes PD (where my family lives). I had to
call the owners of the rental he was staying at 3 days after we couldn't get in touch with him, for
the owner to tell me my brother passed. That alone is sick and horrible and we are incredibly
disappointed in the Austin Police Department.
Since then, no one has reached out to us to tell us what happened, all we know is that he was shot
in the head. His death certificate has no cause of death on it. It has been 5 months and nothing,
I am requesting someone to get in touch with me to discuss this further and see my options in
regards to obtaining police evidence, including body cam footage, pictures, and videos of the
accident. I already tried requesting these items from the Austin Police Records, but that seemed
to also fall through.

I had called APD, due to a guest being unruly about his situation at the hotel. He thought he
booked for 2 nights but he never did. He use 3rd party website to reserve and I insisted to guest
to check his email and contact website to inquire abt that. But he accused me of stealing from him
by stating that I reduced # of nights and want more money from him. Might I add this guest had
stayed at my hotel multiple times before. Then he started cursing thats when I call APD.
Office name Coons badge #7948 was handling this situation with me. We were conducting this
situation very professionaly until he decided to come with me to inspect room before guest
departs to ensure we do the right thing as I smelled smoke smell when my housekeeper notified
me that guest belongings were still in the room past check out time. He decided to come with me
to inspect room, which I dont mind. But when I mention to him the room does smells like guest
had smoke something in the room may be a E-cigarette or vape or something. He said "I smell A
smell". and while he was walking out of the room told me that "You should be ashamed of
yourself for doing this" and he started talking to me in a very rude manner. I told him, this is civil
matter you were asked to remove guest and you still havent done that. and he started instigating
arguments with me A business owner and operator who called APD for him. Time to time this had
happened with APD and they have no RIGHT to in civil matter but somehow they want to
continue to do this. They are called to difuse the situation but they end up escalating by doing
things they are not suppose to. I was told by Austin Police oversignt dept not to discourage to file
a complaint so I am going to try this one last time. If this kind of incident happens again and
oversight dept is not able to help business owners on what APD does to them when they are
called to get him, we will have to find another avenue.

This complaint is in regard to treatment of employees and management. I understand that the
chief is still learning how things operate, but unfortunately this decision is negatively impacting
the function and performance of an investigative unit that experiences a high amount of scrutiny
on a regular basis. The sex crimes unit has had a large amount of attention on them for some time
now. In addition to their investigations, they cover on call, backfill, maintain trainings and make
the public events requested of them by their Commander. The unit has had significant turnover in
the past two years. Burn out plays a large role in this.
In longer than the last two years, the unit has had an investigator who has been limited in her
performance/abilities. The employee was under investigation (restricted) for some time, then on
limited duty dealing with FMLA for family matters and hardly in the office. She made it for a full
week of work to attend a conference in San Diego but was unable to assist with a large amount of
caseload due to personal stress, inability to interact with the public and caseload. The employee
was in a desk position and not placed in harm's way.
When the employee was set to return to work, she suffered an unfortunate health issue that led to
physical limitations. The unit felt so horrible for what she had to be going through and was
supportive of her journey to recovery.

want to return to sex crimes at all and wouldn't be due to decisions from the 5th floor.
I know if this was happening in my unit, I would be greatly frustrated. That unit has had pregnant
employees on light duty assist them and civilian employees. What difference will be made by
working at the training academy VS working at a desk in an office (like she was doing before when
she was in the office)? I hope that the employee can find a unit that accommodates her. It's not
fair to ask violent crimes investigations hold vacancies. I hope that this complaint can receive the

talked to her Sergeant or manager at the time. He said he talk to her but, he didn't feel like she
did anything wrong. She called and said can we do a phone interview, because she had a lot of
people she had to see that week. I agreed to it but I was upset because I felt she could see other
people in person but she didn't want to see me in person. I matter to. We agreed on a day. I
called her on the interview phone day. She picked up. We discussed the situation. She wanted
me to tell her what the guy I reported looked like. I told her ,he had black hair. Before I could
finished. She said out loud so he was black guy I said no he isn't. I didn't say that. The fact that
she cut me off to say that. I felt that was racist and inappropriate. At first dispute that she was
taking me seriously She told me she was going to get everything on this person. And then she
asked what race I was. I told her I was black. And the guy who raped me was mexican Her
demeanor started to change. She told me she infact already integrated the suspect. I asked her
how because she admitted at the time she hadn't gone out to see him yet. She said actually she
spoken to him over the phone. I told why would she speak to him over the phone instead of
going out to him in person. She told me that's how she's doing it. One time during the interview
she asked me was I ever naked in my apartment during the incident. I told her no. But I have
been naked before in my apartment. And I felt he was watching me. She said if your naked in
your apartment you could be antagonizing him. I said that not true I just got out the shower.
Because he peers through my window cracks at me. I did not feel the interview went well. So I
called her manger. The Sergeant didn't believe me. She takes another 2 months for her to get
back with me. I ask her about the follow up. She said she doesn't have much evidence to go off
so she closing my case. I said is that I have the safe exam kit. I asked her about the integrated
follow with this guy. She said that's not necessary. We don't do follow ups or go to talk to the
suspect if there's not any evidence. I told her you called him. She switched it up and said yes I
called him. But he never picked up. My case was dismissed with her. A month later I put in
another sexual assault report. It went to another Detective. That detective saw that Lauren was
my former detective on another case. He talked to her. The new detective on my case around
December 2023. Told me he just talked to Lauren Villarreal. So in order to procure my case I
would have to get evidence for him. I said he's the detective that's his job to get the evidence.

called the victim compensation advocate line today on 4-14-2025 to see what was the outcome.

with her during the time and she failed to reach out back with them. So my application was

opened underneath her,back in September 2023. So that's not a excuse on why she couldn't
communicate to victim service on behalf of me. I strongly believe since my race was thrown

Initially, I decided against writing this email because I was convinced it would get lost amongst
the multitudinous emails you receive daily. However, I feel as if I have no other choice because
student safety does not appear to be a top priority to our campus officials.
I live in North Campus and have had to take the bus all year traveling to and from class and work.
I have spent a lot of time by myself sitting and waiting at different bus stops, and many times I
have had anxiety-inducing encounters with homeless people screaming at me at the top of their
lungs. In these scenarios, I noted that there were no police officers from the city of Austin or from
UT in sight, leaving me feeling completely unprotected. Needless to say, for an 18-year-old girl
who travels alone all of the time, these scenarios have created a general sense of dread when I
have to step outside.
I have heard countless stories from other students in-person and on UT social media platforms
telling of terrifying encounters with homeless people and/or drug addicts. I am planning on living
alone in West Campus next year, and I am fearing for my safety. I think it is shameful that both UT
and the city of Austin have not done enough to combat the homeless problem on our campus.
This email isn't intended to be a rant against homeless people, I myself have family members that
are experiencing homelessness and can sympathize with them. However, it is a problem that
students here feel unsafe, their cars and apartments are being broken into and we are forced to
normalize men on drugs screaming and chasing girls down the street.
To fix this problem and to enhance student safety, there should be a significant increase of
campus security in West Campus, along Guadalupe Street and spread out amongst UT's campus.
Austin's Police Department should work with UT to highlight the areas where the most
encounters happen and implement safety strategies.
No student should have to fear for their lives, and we shouldn't be expected to keep our heads
down and try to ignore the problem. I want to be able to speak proudly of my school and city and

I was detained on suspicion of DWI on early morning Friday 4/18 and taken to Travis County jail.
While being processed I was utilizing my right to remain silent. I was handcuffed and strapped
into a chair.
An officer became frustrated with me and struck me multiple times in the face and blood came
out of my mouth onto the wall of the room I was in. I was physically hit again and coughed, and
more blood got on the wall of the room.
I told the officer that I hope his bodycam was on. It appeared to be on his chest with what I
remember to be a green light. He said he could' ve charged me with a felony and implied that I had
assaulted a police officer.
I did not strike or physically assault him. I did not try and spit on him, it was blood coming from
coughing and being punched.
I was physically restrained and attacked while defenseless. This physical attack and use of force
was not needed to restrain me and was excessive in nature. The handcuffs used were also
extremely too tight and i cannot feel the backs of either of my hands. There is obvious nerve
damage and I'm hoping it is just short term.
I am asking for the video evidence during this incident and will follow up with my lawyer
I will be going to a clinic tomorrow 4/21 to get my face and hands looked at by a healthcare
professional.

was just a year ago she received notice from the Attorney General of Texas that if she didn't close
our shop, they would seize her building.
I get it. If you tell the owners of the establishment, they would hide evidence of human
trafficking. I get it. But, where is the presumption of innocence, until proven guilty?
also get that SOMEONE made a complaint, so the complaint cannot and should not be ignored,
but what about the damage to our reputation? How do we overcome the bad press?
The situation from last year was resolved - because we weren't doing anything wrong. And, it is
my hope that this turmoil will also subside.

The following allegations outline actions that have severely impacted my life, liberty, and
freedom, constituting gross misconduct, fraud upon the court, and interference with interstate

1. Magistrate Jernigan's Refusal to Provide Bond
Magistrate
refused to facilitate my bond proceedings despite her sworn
oath of office to uphold the law. When I inquired about the bond process, she stated she was not
required to answer my inquiry. This refusal to provide essential information regarding my bond
or to facilitate my due process is a violation of my rights and interferes with my ability to
challenge the charges and legal remedies.
2. Imposition of Unauthorized Legal Representation

the judicial machinery of the court corrupted the impartiality and integrity of the proceedings.
Specifically, they denied me access to proper legal remedies, failed to consult the appropriate
authorities regarding my citizenship, and engaged in misconduct to silence and oppress me.
These actions directly violate due process protections under the law and constitute fraud upon
the court.
4. Interference with Interstate Commerce and Civil Rights Violations
The actions of the Austin Police Department and Williamson County Sheriff's Department have
interfered with my personal affairs, no warrant, leading to significant harm, including kidnapping
and torture. Despite my notice pursuant to 15 U.S.C. §1 and §2, which prohibits restraint and
monopolization of trade, my attempts to resolve these matters through lawful channels were
blocked. These actions violate my personal freedoms and interfere with the lawful conduct of my
business and organization.
5. Harassment, Abuse of Power, and Violation of Rights
I have been subjected to continuous harassment by officers of the Austin Police Department and
Williamson County Sheriff's Department, who lacked lawful authority and subject matter
jurisdiction to make legal determinations. Officers such as Benavides Carolina, Smith Desmond
Ryan, and Flanery Justin, Khidre Alexandre M, Barto Jason, Capizzi Eric A from the Austin Police
Department have subjected me to unlawful and unjust actions, further violating my constitutional
rights. I wasn't able to find the case # 24-04935-2 as Williamson County Clerks tampered and
failed to filed evidence on record.
These acts of aggression, mistreatment, and violation of my legal standing as an Individual
Banker and protections are unlawful. I have multiple assault charges, treason and for
deprivations of tortious act of all the names listed above. As a private citizen, I have the right to be

he pulled her over. He cut her off twice, did not have his lights on, and pulled her over and had a

Corporal Dawson said she slammed her head against the door jumping around, when she was
actually having a seizure. He tried to pull her out of the car while she was having a seizure. He
slammed her head on the car door trying to pull her out. She told her father that the officer
grabbed her head and slammed it on the concrete. Her ankles are cut up where the officer drug
her on the asphalt. Corporal Dawson said he thought she had a gun, but she never had a gun. She
was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The complainant drove from his home in Liberty Hill
to the scene and spoke with Corporal Dawson who was the supervisor and expressed his anger
and dissatisfaction with how this was all handled, then accompanied his daughter to the hospital.

She was leaving the person's house who called the police on her. She was nearly to the end of the
street. She saw a Tahoe driving towards her, maneuvered his vehicle in front of hers and stopped.
It was dark so she could see it was an officer. She reversed and made a u-turn. The Tahoe still
didn't have his lights on SO she assumed it was just someone trying to intimidate her. The Tahoe
continued to follow her, without his lights or sirens engaged. He then went over his intercom and
yelled at her to pull over. He proceeded to yell at her to put her hands out of the window, so she
did. He walked up with a gun and a flashlight in her face. She asked him what was going on. The
officer just screamed at her to shut up and get out of the car. She called her father at that point. At
that moment, she thought the cop was going to shoot her because of how aggressive he was
being. He reached into her car, unlocked the door and pulled her door open. At that point she
started screaming to put his gun down. At that point she began to have an epileptic seizure. He
began dragging her from her vehicle while she was seizing. Her arm was stuck in the belt of her
car seat and her head his the bottom of her door 3 times, and then he dragged her onto the
ground where she continued to seize. He just stood over and watched her having a seizure. She
hit her head on the ground nearly 7 times. Other officers arrived and she asked that he get away
from her because he was triggering the seizure. She has a concussion and a hematoma on her
head, she has cuts and bruises all over her body. She went to the hospital and her father came to
speak to the officer and to get her vehicle for her.

further evaluate him for that, Furthermore, members of the Austin Fire Department started to be
rude and harass me because I did not want to trade my information with the other driver until
police arrived. I did retrieve his insurance info and filed a claim with his insurance while I was on
the scene before the police arrived. However, they stated that I needed to exchange my info with
him so they could leave, and if I didn't, it would be considered leaving the site of the scene and
that I may be in trouble. One firefighter went as far as telling me to man up and give the other
driver my information. I refused to and told them that I needed the police to come, and that's
when one of the firefighters called the police department again, after I was told by the original
911 dispatcher that the Austin police would be there on the scene, but had not arrived yet. While
they were continuing to try to get the Austin police on the scene other firefighters further
harassed me and asked me what my problem was? While I was waiting, a few more occurrences
similar to what I reported above continued. The tow truck driver of 969 Towing told me that he
also witnessed how they were acting with me. Two Austin Police officers did arrive after almost
two hours later, The female officer gathered information about the accident from I and the other
individual. She was very polite and professional, however when I reported to her what Mr.
told me about him blacking out before the crash, she did not follow-up with him about
this report for safety/health considerations for him or other future drivers if he decided to drive
again in the future. Eventually they had to call the tow truck back to pick up my 09 Forester. While
the male officer waited until the tow truck arrived I told him that I was very tired from driving
most of the day from Louisiana and my stepmom needed to drop me off, because we both had to

apartment leases were signed in my name. One complex stated they even have a copy of the

The complainant and their brother were walking to a pharmacy across the street from Westlake
High School, when Officer Greer became immediately aggressive and, without questioning them,
stopped them and handcuffed them. They were searched, and their background check was run.
The officer didn't find anything. The officer claimed the reason for the arrest was because the
complainant and his brother were wearing masks. There was a school staff member with the
officer following the complainant and his brother the whole time until they were arrested,
claiming they were trying to enter the school. The officer said he thought they might be
suspicious persons implying they were potential school shooters. The pharmacy is across from a
high school, there is no way to enter the pharmacy without passing in front of the school. They
had just arrived in town and were picking up a prescription. On previous visits, they had made
the same walk, wearing masks, to the same pharmacy with no incident. The complainant does not
understand what might have been different about this occasion.

I am submitting this complaint regarding a serious incident involving Officer Brown #9271 on
April 25, 2025 at approximately 11:45pm near 71/Tucker Hill Ln. While I was lawfully operating
my vehicle, space I observed a vehicle approaching from behind at an extremely high rate of
speed - estimated to be over 100 mph - weaving in and out of traffic lanes in a reckless and
dangerous manner. This behavior caused significant fear for my safety.
At no point during the initial pursuit did the vehicle have its emergency lights or sirens activated.
Only after tailgating me aggressively for a prolonged distance, I went around him to avoid further
conflict at the Tucker hill lane flight, after blowing through a light supposedly did the driver
activate emergency lights.
Concern for my safety and unsure if the vehicle was a legitimate law enforcement Officer, I
immediately called 911 to verify whether this was indeed a police Officer attempting a stop.
Despite my 911 call and the activation of emergency lights, repeatedly tried pushing me off the
road, as I pulled into the tractor supply parking lot to have ability of the driver and attempted to
comply, the driver failed to exit his vehicle, failed to properly identify himself as a law
enforcement Officer, and the driver shined an extremely bright spotlight directly into my eyes,
impairing my ability to see or identify whether it was truly a police Officer.
The driver remained inside his vehicle and failed to properly identify himself as an Officer, as
required by law and department policy.

Instead, he began shouting profanities at me from inside his vehicle. Specifically, he called me a
"stupid fucking bitch" and said "fuck you"-- completely unprovoked and unprofessional behavior
that escalated the situation and further made me feel unsafe, intimidated, and confused. OK hi

Due to the aggressive road rage behavior exhibited, I did not feel safe allowing the driver to
simply leave the scene without official police involvement. I wished to wait for additional
responding officers to ensure the situation was properly documented and addressed.
When it appeared that the other driver (Officer Brown) was attempting to leave the parking lot
where he had stopped, I made an impulsive decision to block his path by maneuvering my vehicle
in front of his. I braked in front of him in an effort to prevent him from fleeing the scene prior to
the arrival of additional law enforcement.

At this point, I was terrified. I was unsure if this was truly an Officer or if it was being targeted by
someone impersonating law enforcement. I had just experienced an apparent road rage incident,
where a driver tried to run me off the road multiple times during what should have been
controlled traffic stop but clearly was not.
Rather than exercising appropriate caution or de escalating the situation, the Officer proceeded to
collide with the rear of my vehicle with force.
As a result of the Officer's reckless conduct - including dangerous speeding, reckless weaving,
failure to properly identify himself, verbal abuse, and and unnecessary collision, I suffered
property damage, emotional distress, and physical injury to my neck and back. No one offered
medical care, and both Bastrop PD and the acting Corporal Murray failed to allow me to file a
complaint at the time of the incident. The Officer's actions were unsafe, unprofessional, and
violated both traffic laws and basic standards of police conduct.
I respectfully request that a full investigation be conducted into this incident, that appropriate
disciplinary action be taken against the Officer involved, and that it provided with copies of
dashcam footage, body worn camera footage, dispatch audio, and any incident reports related to
this event.
I am prepared to fully cooperate with any investigation and can provide additional information as
necessary.

I was out with my friend on the day of April, 28, 2025 around 9:30PM in downtown Austin Door

called for a ride I went To pick her up when I noticed
a officer cart trailing behind her as she walked to my car. We sat and caught up for a while before
we pulled off Before I was able to get a couple of blocks I was pulled over by an officer with the
same cart that was trailing my friend. The officers then got out and instead of approaching me

started to ask her about dates and times of previous incidents making me feel violated and
harassed. Abusing authority calling my friend names and blocking his badge when I said I was in
fear I suffer from ptsd and anxiety and my mental health was disregarded while they continue
the verbal attack with my passenger when the cause of the stop was a traffic violation. We have
videos and pictures of the attack with the officers and another witness as my back seat passenger
it was misconduct and discrimination tarnishing her image when I feel like I was not the intended
target they were focusing on my friend in the passenger constantly harassing her, and I asked him
to step away from my window because she gave her information and everything that was needed,
and they still were constantly harassing her, calling her names and giving defamation of character
saying that she's someone she's not, and they just they were disregarding the whole traffic stop. It
was only focused on my friend on the passenger seat. These are also the same officers that
confiscated her property illegally without a warrant, probable cause or any drugs or anything two
years ago, I had to take her to retrieve her property thirty days later without them giving a reason
of taking her personal belongings. I feel that my friend is being targeted in this situation and
previous situations without any reprimand or consequences for any actions, this should be taking
seriously, and the officers involved should be held accountable for their actions I feared for my
friend safety as well as mine because the officers were so aggressive, and they were name-calling
as I mentioned previously something needs to be done about this and it needs to be taken
seriously. Officers names and badge numbers were officer Vandervalle 8149, Reid 7870, santford

Dear OPO team,
Thank you. This incident took place in the early morning hours of June 19, 2024 at 820 W 3rd St
in Austin. The officers involved were Omer Ahmad and Paul Murray. Here is my complaint:
"The complaint is that a sworn probable cause affidavit produced by Officers Omer Ahmad and
Paul Murray contained numerous material falsehoods, misleading statements and material
omissions.
Officers Ahmad and Murray responded to a 911 call from my wife. I peacefully met with the
officers outside of our apartment building and spoke with both officers, and my wife also had
extended conversations with each of the officers. All interactions between myself and officers
Murray and Ahmad, as well as all interactions between my wife and officers Murray and Ahmad,
were recorded on police body cam.
In connection with this incident, Officer Ahmad signed a sworn probable cause affidavit that he
prepared together with Officer Murray. I was subsequently charged with a misdemeanor based
on the affidavit (the charges were investigated by the prosecutor and dismissed).
The probable cause affidavit states that I "did admit to hitting" my wife, that I "said that she never
used force against [me]" and that "both parties confirmed that [I] was the only one being
physical".
These statements in the affidavit are false. I did not tell the officers that I hit my wife or "admit" to
doing so, did not say that she never used force against me, and did not say that I was the only one
being "physical". The body cam videos show what I actually said to the officers, which is
inconsistent with some of the statements the affidavit falsely attributes to me. Among other
things, I told the officers that I did not hurt my wife.
The affidavit also states that my wife "said she fell to the ground", that she "said she developed a
headache due to the arguing", and that she "had a complaint of pain due to [my] physically
assaulting" her.
These statements in the affidavit are false and/or omit information that makes them highly
misleading, as my wife did not at any time tell the officers that she fell to the ground, both my
wife and I told the officers that her headache was due to a cold, and my wife clearly tried to
convey to the officers that she did not experience pain other than from her headache (which she

had told the officers was due to a cold). My wife also tried to clarify to the officers that I did not
really hit her, which was omitted from the affidavit along with other material omissions.
The account I myself gave to officers of the events that had occurred was completely omitted from
the affidavit.
I believe that many or all of the false statements I pointed out above were included not only in the
probable cause affidavit, but also in the offense report that was subsequently prepared. I only had
a brief opportunity to glance at the offense report, but I seem to remember that the offense report
also included additional material false statements that are inconsistent with my wife's testimony,
the probable cause affidavit, the body cam and the photos taken at the scene.
I am aware of the existence of three body cam / dash cam videos which show what my wife and I
actually said to Officer Ahmad and Officer Murray. I request that these videos be reviewed and
compared to the probable cause affidavit and offense report and that, on the basis of these videos,
the falsehoods and misleading statements in the affidavit, the offense report, and any other
documents where such false information may have been replicated, be corrected, and that
appropriate disciplinary action be taken. I also request that the body cam videos from this
incident be preserved in their entirety and not be destroyed or disposed of at any time."

Complainant stated on 4/28/25, at 9:30 pm, while leaving 420 Club on Neches Street, she was
approached by APD Officers Santeford, Vandervalk, Reid, and Saenz. She stated officers told her to
leave or they would take her to jail. She stated she left and officers followed her on a golf cart. She
stated she entered a friend's car and after they drove off they were stopped by the APD officers.
Complainant stated at the time she was a passenger in the car and officers had no reason to
contact her. She stated the officers talked inappropriately to her and harassed her by saying they
were going to take her to jail. Complainant stated the same officers have stopped and arrested her
for no reason in the past and she believes they are abusing their authority. One officer tried to
block his badge and and refused to give his name when she asked for it.

The complainant alleges:
Driving North bound on Mopac (Loop 1) on Wednesday 4/30/2025 between 5:20-5:25am. Police
officer in a SUV was in the far right-hand lane and I was driving in the middle lane. Between the
Capital of Tx Hwy and Barton Skyway exits, officer proceeded to aggressively shift into the middle
lane as I passed their vehicle. Their patrol vehicle was very close to my bumper, and they
proceeded to turn off their headlights and shifted into day lights. Officer continued to drive very
close to my bumper. I then shifted from the middle lane into the far left-hand lane, officer
followed and then proceeded to turn on his headlights, in addition to his top lights (not the
red/blue, but bright white light) and continued following very close to my bumper. I moved back
into the middle lane as soon as I could (within 1/10 of mile) and officer stayed in the left-hand
lane, turned his headlights back to normal, and proceeded to stay next to my vehicle (traveling at
around 60 mph). Officer continued in this way until we were less than a quarter of a mile from
the Enfield Rd. exit and then they quickly shifted into the far right-hand lane so they could exit
Enfield Rd.
The above highlights extremely aggressive and unsafe maneuvers by the officer, and I'm unsure
vehicle (e.g. license plate).
