Social Services Funding

Austin Public Health administers over $50 million in City of Austin General Funds as well as approximately $75 million from federal and state funding.

Below you will find past funding competitions, standard solicitation documents and standard agreement documents.

The following sections include documents that agencies with active agreements with Austin Public Health may use for reference.

    All competitions for  Social Services funding can be found on the APH Social Services Competition website.

    Interested Applicants Start Here

    APH only accepts applications in Partnergrants. All Interested applicants must register in Partnergrants by following these steps.

    1. Confirm that their organization is a registered vendor with the City of Austin.

    • To find the City of Austin Vendor Number please visit Austin Finance Online and search for the organization’s legal name.
    • To register to become a potential City of Austin vendor, go to Austin Finance Online to register.

    2.  Visit the Partnergrants site and click on “Register Here.” Note that the organization’s City of Austin Vendor number is required to complete registration.

    APH Social Services are divided into issue areas representing community needs.

    Funding may be allocated for agreements for issue area specific services that align with City, Departmental, or community priorities.  This type of agreement ensures that the framework and coordination efforts outlined in the department or community-level plan are not disrupted.  Some examples of issue area specific services:

    • Administration and Planning

    • Direct Financial Assistance for Housing Stability
    • Early Childhood
    • Youth Development
