Austinites are invited to attend community input sessions to learn about the City’s Quality of Life and other advisory commissions, connect with current commissioners, and share their thoughts on commission priorities.

City commissioners play a vital role in helping the city understand community needs and advising on ways to improve the quality of life for all Austinites.  Joint Inclusion Commission Vice Chair Richard Bondi shared, "These events give Austinites two great opportunities: to share their ideas early about their top priorities and to discover how they can get involved with one of the 67 active City of Austin commissions.”

At each public input session, community members can learn how to apply to serve on a commission and share their input on the most pressing needs in their neighborhoods. “Your voice matters —come be part of shaping Austin’s future,” shared Vice Chair Bondi.  The feedback from the sessions will help the commissions decide their priorities and inform their recommendations.

Please join one of the five public sessions, four held in person and one online, and share your voice!
