Austin, TX – The City of Austin invites community members to a public Meet & Greet with the finalists for the Austin Animal Services Director position on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Permitting and Development Center - 6310 Wilhelmina Delco Dr, Austin, TX 7875.

The Austin Animal Services Director is responsible for overseeing animal shelter operations and animal control services, ensuring effective program delivery, fiscal oversight, and community engagement to promote public safety and animal welfare to the Austin/Travis County community. 

This event provides an opportunity for the public to: 

• Meet the finalists in person. 

• Submit questions for a moderated discussion. 

• Share feedback that will be considered by City Manager T.C. Broadnax during the final selection process.
