APO Objection 2025-2482, Officer Garritt McGraw

In response to Police Chief Lisa Davis, Austin Police Oversight (APO) disagrees with the level of discipline issued to Officer McGraw. In October, APO received an anonymous complaint alleging inappropriate use of social media. The internal investigation found Officer McGraw violated Austin Police Department policy regarding prohibited speech, expression, and conduct, but cleared him of potential violations of acts bringing discredit upon the department. APO believes his comments reflect poorly on the department, and his discipline should be upgraded to a written reprimand.
