APO Recommendation #2025–1839, Officer Derrick Lehman

In response to the internal investigation into Officer Derrick Lehman’s conduct, Austin Police Oversight (APO) recommends he receive a 3-5 day suspension, with no eligibility for education-based discipline. Officer Lehman deployed his Taser without a verbal warning on a subject who was unarmed and did not appear to be a threat to the Officers.
