APO Recommendation 2025-2324, Officer Adam Reinhart

In response to the internal investigation into Officer Adam Reinhart, Austin Police Oversight (APO) recommends that he be exonerated and the case be closed. Officer Reinhart was fired upon when attempting to detain two suspects. He returned fire and sustained a gunshot wound. APO concludes Officer Reinhart's use of deadly force was within the Austin Police Department policy.
