APO Recommendation for Case #2025-2431, Officer Andy Garcia
In response to the complaint alleging excessive use-of-force in the case of Officer Andy Garcia, Austin Police Oversight (APO) agrees with the findings of the internal investigation. The investigation found he violated multiple policies during a response to a fight in progress. APO recommends Officer Garcia be suspended indefinitely due to this conduct unbecoming of an officer and requests a public written explanation if the recommendation is not followed.
