APO Recommendation for Case #2025-2475, Officer Andy Garcia
In response to the internal investigation in the case of Officer Andy Garcia, Austin Police Oversight (APO) agrees with the findings that he violated multiple policies regarding impact weapon guidelines, use-of-force level reporting, and report writing. APO recommends Officer Garcia be suspended indefinitely and requests a public written explanation if the recommendation is not followed.
