Indefinite Suspension of Officer Andy Garcia
Chief of Police Lisa Davis determined Officer Andy Garcia violated multiple Austin Police Department policies and suspended him indefinitely. The policy violations included: dishonesty with his chain of command and internal affairs, prohibited use of property and equipment, neglect of duty, baton and impact weapons, report writing, response to resistance, care and transport of prisoners, transporting arrested person and escape, and acts bringing discredit upon the department.
