Medel V. The City of Austin; Gabriel Walker Prado

Plaintiff Avelino Medel II submitted this lawsuit against Gabriel Walker Prado for alleged excessive force. The plaintiff requested damages. In response to the defendant’s motion for summary judgment, United States Magistrate Judge Dustin Howell issued a Report and Recommendation recommending that the District Judge grant the motion for summary judgment and deny the motion to strike as moot. On March 25, 2026, District Judge Robert Pittman adopted the recommendation and dismissed Medel’s claims with prejudice.
