Austin Youth Career Fest

The Youth Career Fest provides networking and career exploration opportunities to students from 8th –12th grade. At the fest, students can interact with representatives from 100+ private, public, and non-profit organizations in dozens of industries! It’s an amazing opportunity for students to learn more about the careers they are already interested in or to learn about options they haven’t yet considered. Staff will be available to talk about recycling, composting, on-demand collection services and other department programs while providing waste-related educational materials and resources.
