Roots & Wings Festival at Pillow School Park

Grow Green will be joining the Roots & Wings Festival at Pillow School Park on October 24 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Roots & Wings Festival is dedicated to ensuring that every Austinite, in every neighborhood, can experience the benefits, wonder, and sense of belonging that nature provides - so that our entire community feels inspired to protect it.

At this family‑friendly event, Grow Green will be giving away free Texas tough plants, leading hands‑on environmentally friendly craft activities, and offering a variety of gardening resources designed for Austin’s unique landscape. Knowledgeable staff will be on hand to help community members learn how to garden the Austin way, answer questions, and share tips for creating healthy, resilient yards.

It’s a great opportunity to connect with nature, pick up free goodies, and discover simple, creek-friendly ways to care for your outdoor space.
