The Community Survey Dashboard provides information from ten years of Austin community surveys, dating back to 2015, highlighting resident satisfaction, quality of life, and demographics.
- Data and Insights Hub
Currently in BETA testing, the Data and Insights Hub is the City of Austin’s unified place to explore public‑facing data products. It brings together apps, dashboards, datasets, maps, reports, plans, and other data products published across platforms such as the Open Data Portal and Austin GeoHub, making the City’s data environment easier to navigate.

An overview of the City of Austin’s top priorities, strategic goals, and the ways departments across the City are working together to make measurable progress for all Austinites.
- Neighborhood Prosperity Dashboard
The Neighborhood Prosperity Dashboard helps Austin residents explore how neighborhoods are doing across a range of factors that affect quality of life and opportunity. Use the dashboard to see how conditions vary across the city, explore neighborhood-level data, and better understand where communities are experiencing different opportunities and challenges.
- Strategic Universities Partnership Dashboard
A dashboard that showcases research projects between the City of Austin and local universities, supported under a Master Interlocal Agreement. Explore projects by department, research topic, strategic priority, and year to better understand how academic partnerships are advancing innovation and informing City services.
Budget and workforce dashboards
Explore data and insights about the City of Austin’s budget, investments, and workforce. These dashboards provide information about capital projects, public improvement bond finances, staff vacancies, and the City’s adopted budget—helping residents understand how public resources are planned, invested, and used to support our community.
- Capital Projects Explorer
Explore open and active projects across Austin’s capital program. This tool covers all capital projects—whether funded by bonds, revenue transfers, or other sources—providing a comprehensive view of citywide investments. Users can filter by funding, project type, sponsoring department, or geographic area to understand how capital dollars are planned and spent.
- Council Budget Questions
A searchable database of questions submitted by City Council members during the annual budget process, along with responses from City departments.
- Public Improvement Bond Finances Dashboard
Coming soon! This dashboard provides an overview of Austin’s public improvement bonds (PIBs), highlighting voter authorization levels for current bond programs, amounts issued through the City’s treasury, planned expenditures, and actual spending—including committed funds and amounts already spent. It also shows remaining balances to support ongoing and future capital needs.
- Open Budget ATX
An interactive dashboard that provides transparent, user-friendly access to the City of Austin’s annual budget, allowing residents and stakeholders to explore revenue sources, departmental spending, and funding priorities.
- Staff Vacancy Dashboard
This dashboard provides department‑level vacancy metrics at the pay‑period level, including number of vacancies, vacancy rate, median vacancy duration, and the age of the oldest vacancy.
