The Creative Reset
The Creative Reset is a year-long strategic planning initiative led by the City of Austin’s Office of Arts, Culture, Music & Entertainment (ACME). Its purpose is to co-create a more equitable, accessible, and sustainable arts, culture, and music ecosystem in Austin—with the community leading the way.
AACME is launching Phase II of the Creative Reset — a community-driven effort to strengthen Austin’s arts, culture, and heritage programs. This phase focuses on gathering community input to guide the future of our City-owned arts and cultural centers and museums.

Exhibits

Education
The Dougherty Arts Center’s School is an all-ages community-based arts education program focused on developing creativity through adult studio classes, youth programs and teen professional development.
Artist Professional Development
The DAC offers a variety of ways for both emerging and established artists to build sustainable creative careers. Opportunities include free workshops, events, residencies, and shared workspace.
Rentals
The DAC Theater is an attractive, comfortable 150-seat proscenium theater complete with lighting and sound systems, box office and concession areas, dressing rooms, gallery entrance and outdoor marquee.
