The City of Austin Small Business Division offers a comprehensive directory of small business resources offered by local, state, and federal governments and non-profit agencies. Our goal for the City of Austin Small Business Resources Directory is to increase awareness and use of the programs that provide aid in the development of your business.

The Heritage Grant will provide historic preservation grants to nonprofit, commercial or government entities to support preservation and attract tourism.

The Houston Business Development, Inc. assist small business owners by providing flexible and affordable loans to expand their businesses and work closely with banks and commercial lenders to provide bridge financing. 

The International Trade and Investment Program works to link Austin businesses with international markets and business partners, and increase foreign direct investment in the city. 

The Joan Mitchell Foundation provides emergency support to US based visual artists working in the mediums of painting, sculpture, and/or drawing, who have suffered significant losses after natural or manmade disasters that have affected their community. 

The Julia C. Butridge Gallery supports emerging through professional artists by providing exhibition space by application.

The Latino Arts Residency Program fosters the development of Austin-area Latino arts organizations and artists in all disciplines in an effort to build and enhance quality, sustainable community arts and cultural programming. 

The Lighton International Artists Exchange Program works to make the world a smaller place by giving artists of different cultures the opportunity to work together, in the hope that lasting friendship and understanding will develop.
