The City of Austin Small Business Division offers a comprehensive directory of small business resources offered by local, state, and federal governments and non-profit agencies. Our goal for the City of Austin Small Business Resources Directory is to increase awareness and use of the programs that provide aid in the development of your business.

The Stand With Austin Fund was established in partnership with the Entrepreneurs Foundation to receive charitable donations to support nonprofits assisting individuals and small businesses most negatively impacted by the cancellation of SXSW and least able to recover on their own.

The State Bar of Texas legal hotline helps people find answers to basic legal questions and connects them with legal aid providers following declared disasters.  

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Disaster Distress Helpline provides 24/7, 365-day-a-year crisis counseling and support to people experiencing emotional distress related to natural or human-caused disasters. 

The Sundance Documentary Fund assists non-profit films on the development of documentaries on social issues. 

The Sustainable Arts Foundation is a non-profit foundation supporting artists and writers with families.  

The Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2010 modifies and extends the energy efficient appliance credit for certain dishwashers, clothes washers, and refrigerators manufactured after December 31, 2010.
