The City of Austin Small Business Division offers a comprehensive directory of small business resources offered by local, state, and federal governments and non-profit agencies. Our goal for the City of Austin Small Business Resources Directory is to increase awareness and use of the programs that provide aid in the development of your business.

The Texas District Export Council contributes to the leadership and international trade expertise to compliment the U.S. Commercial Service's export promotion efforts through counseling businesses on the exporting process and conducting trade education and community outreach. 

The Texas Development Corporation promotes economic development in Texas on behalf of the State.  Information on available services, industries, and small business startup.  

The Texas Department of Insurance regulates insurers and other companies that conduct insurance business in Texas, and assists Texas-based insurance consumers. 

The Texas State Small Business Development Center works with existing and startup small business to help them grow and compete in today's global economy.  

The Texas Comptroller's office is the state's chief tax collector, accountant, revenue estimator and treasurer. 

The U.S. Veterans Chamber of Commerce offers a network of state chambers for veteran own designated businesses, veterans, and their families to access both national and local resources, signature programs, and services through affiliated organizations and corporations. 

The U.S. Small Business Administration has delivered millions of loans, loan guarantees, contracts, counseling sessions and other forms of assistance to small businesses. 

The United States Food & Drug Administration is responsible for protecting the public health by assuring the safety, efficacy, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, medical devices, our nation's food supply, cosmetics, and products that emit radiation. 

The University of Texas McCombs School of Business, Herb Kelleher Center for Entrepreneurship, and MSTC host this SXSW Startup Pitch Competition. 

The vision of the Financial Planning Association of Austin is to be the premier community of financial planners in the central Texas area and to serve as the leading financial planning resource for the public and media.
