More than 100 employers are anticipated to attend. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in on-the-spot interviews for selected City of Austin jobs. City departments will conduct interviews and extend contingent job offers on-site during the event. There are close to 90 eligible job titles across accounting, customer service, finance, human resources, healthcare, engineering, and various operations roles.

The primary goal of this event is to provide job seekers from all backgrounds, including justice-involved individuals, Veterans, Seniors (50+), and people with disabilities, with opportunities to find viable jobs by networking with employers and resource providers.

The Career Expo will include several City departments, private employers, state agencies, higher education and technical schools, temporary staffing agencies, and many smaller businesses with skilled, customer service, and labor job openings. There is no cost for job seekers to attend, and a professional photographer will be onsite taking headshots of attendees at no charge.
